"Thunder"

So how awesome was it to have a Thunderstrom the other eve. Laura and Addison were not too phased. Laura was very excited when there was "hunder." I tried my different ways to explain that Thunder is not a person, but acutally noises that come from the sky or clouds. Laura was insistant that "hunder" was Ryker's friend up in the _ky. I even told her that sound was God bowling in heaven. That story didn't stick in her memory. HMMM... So how do you tell a almost three year old what Thunder really is?
