UNBELIEVEABLE!

July 8th really? That is just not RIGHT!
I have had sooooo many ideas for posts but really have not made the time to do so it. I am going to try now to remember some. But at the very least give a heads up on what is on the up and up!
Laura:
4 years old and LOVING preschool. It really is amazing how they come into there own. You still see you and your habits in them but they really take on their own personality once out of the parents direct supervision. For example: Laura had her pictures done and WOW adorable pic(well I think so) and serious I am not sure where she got that smile. I have never seen that smile and have yet to see that smile.
Addison: Is doing great she is finally starting to really enjoy our new addition to the family, Jack the dog. Addie well she is utilizing terrible two's well and enjoys making her parents and grandparents to squirm. Actually, Addison has another nickname from her Dad's side of the family. Back when "the uncles" were little one of them had a hard time saying monster so he said mont-mere and it stuck. Addison likes to run around and act like a monster soooo fitting enough her nickname is Addie Mont-mere. And she is not ashamed at all. When people ask her, her name she says with a tall stance and smile... Addie Mont-mere. And almost always they say, What did she say?" And I get to tell them the whole story.
And our third child, Jack the Dog. He is doing well and enjoying the mild weather this fall I think. He is very busy but is pretty well behaved. He loves to be around people and truly enjoys our walks. He is learning the heed command currently and we definitely have some work to do. He is sitting, laying down, retrieving and releasing mainly by hand signals. It is very cool.
Kris is doing well also busy getting his name out there for construction or landscaping. He is enjoying it.
Well I hope to post more in the near future along with some pictures. Pictures always tell a story very well.

WOW!

It has been forever! And I really don't have a lot of time today but I had to share this story.
So yesterday bringing Laura in for her recheck of pneumonia/asthma attack yesterday and the Dr. increased and changed some meds so we were at the pharmacy filling the new meds. Laura notices a guy enter the pharmacy. If I had to guess he was probably 20 or so. Cute as the ones she picks out usually are... anyway she flirts with him for a while by doing goofy things like showing him this book etc. Corduroy or something. I turn from watching as the pharmacist is starting to chat with us about the new medications. I can hear her talking to this kid who is being very receptive and chatting back about what a good book that was. They had some other exchanges I am not sure what was said and it all came to a stop when the pharmacist came around the corner with tootsie pops for Laura and Addison. We say our Thank-you's and good-byes to our new friends and Laura and I go to our car. Kris and Addison to the truck. As I am pulling away Laura says with a very pouty face, now this is word for word, "Why did you guys interrupts us, we were going to read that book." For a minute I had to think what is she talking about. Then realized it was about this kid in the pharmacy...I think we are in trouble!

MY BABY IS 2!!!!!!!!

A cute quick story...

So it is 2am and I hear, "Mama Mama!!" Accompanied by the cry that you know as a parent is not a I am sleeping whimpering cry. I go to Laura and she is sitting up in her bed leaning against the wall. I ask, "What is wrong honey?" She replies, "I know there is a frog in my bed, Mommy I know it." As if she is already pleading with me not believing her. I answer her plea with little tone, "I don't think it was a frog honey." She stops me and says, "Well, it was a spider then but I know it was something." I promise her it was not a frog and fluff all the blankets and give them a big sweep with my hands. I tell her " Mommy and Daddy are just down the hall if you need to come get us you can but I promise it will not bother you again." Hoping it truly wasn't a spider. I then go back to bed and Kris asks, " What was that all about?" I respond, "Oh nothing a dream I think, she thought there was frog in her bed." Kris chuckles, "Oh yes she saw a tree frog at Grandma's today." AHhhhh. That explains it. Not five minutes later I have already fallen back asleep I hear the bathroom door clothes I look over and Kris is still in bed. I kind of freak out cuz Laura has NEVER gotten up to go to the bathroom in the night before especially not without waking me first. I listen she uses the bathroom, washes her hands and then goes back to bed or so I thought. I learn a little later Laura has taken her pillow and blanket and slept on the couch. Sometimes you really really want to take your mom's word but you just can't. I thought it was super sweet she just did it on her own. :) Probably in fear I would make her sleep with the frog. Poor thing.

A little story from my Mother In Law (MIL)

Some of the things are inside jokes, however the moral of the story is... the girls' Great Grandfather, Herb, use to eat his cheetos with a fork and well now... so does Addison.

STORY from the MIL:

We like to tease Tabitha and Kris, that Addison is Herb reincarnated as a
girl, she looks like Herb Dog nickname the guys gave him years ago, she
even stands and walks like he did. Geoff thought it would be funny if he
taught Addie to eat Cheetos with a fork, just like Great Grandpa did, as
you can see, she master that in no time. One major difference is Addison is
a happy little girl, and has a big smile on her face, she usually gives out
lots of hugs too. What a joke on Herb - coming back as a girl!!!! We all
knew what he thought about women!

Pictures from random moments in the last couple of weeks

Sorry for the delay!
